Sinopsis
Ada momen dalam hidup di mana keputusasaan bisa membuat kita membuat pilihan yang akan mengubah hidup kita selamanya.
Inilah yang terjadi pada Kim Myung Joon (Yoon Kye Sang), seorang pria miskin dengan hati yang hangat.
Ia sedang putus asa karena putrinya yang sakit memerlukan operasi mendesak, tapi sayangnya tidak memiliki biaya.
Ketika situasi semakin memburuk, mantan istrinya muncul dengan sebuah rencana: menculik Choi Ro Hee (Yu Na), seorang gadis berusia 11 tahun dari keluarga kaya.
Keputusasaan mendorong Kim Myung Joon untuk menerima tawaran ini.
Dalam usaha menculik gadis itu, dia mengemudikan mobilnya dekat rumah Choi Ro Hee, tetapi secara tidak sengaja menabrak seseorang.
Ironisnya, orang yang ia tabrak adalah Choi Ro Hee sendiri, yang kemudian hilang ingatan akibat kecelakaan tersebut.
Memanfaatkan keadaan, Kim Myung Joon membawa Choi Ro Hee ke rumahnya dan mulai hidup bersamanya.
Choi Ro Hee, yang adalah gadis cerdas, mulai percaya bahwa Kim Myung Joon adalah ayahnya.
Namun, Kim Myung Joon merasa bersalah dan berusaha menghubungi orang tua gadis itu untuk mengembalikannya, tetapi tidak ada jawaban.
Dia memutuskan untuk pergi ke rumah mereka dan menemukan sesuatu yang menggemparkan: orang tua Choi Ro Hee telah meninggal.
Seolah-olah situasi itu belum cukup buruk, Choi Ro Hee menyadari bahwa Kim Myung Joon bukanlah ayahnya dan dia telah berbohong tentang hubungan mereka.
